Component Level Repair as needed Upgrade AP Software to Latest Version – including EMV capability New Battery as needed This is a repair service. The price reflects a flat rate repair. This entails a normal repair. i.e.-Failures during normal use. Any vandalism, freight damage, water damage, etc could incur additional charges. You will be notified about any additional costs for approval before any work is performed.
PLEASE READ – in many cases, we can repair these main boards in-house. However, in some cases we must send the board out to Hantle/Genmega for a bootloader flash (they use a secure bootloader, and don’t release it to the field). In instances where the board has to be sent into Hantle/Genmega, if they deem it not repairable, Hantle/Genmega now charges a $50 inspection fee, which must be passed onto the customer. Please keep this in mind when sending in your boards for repair. This does not apply to any repair performed in-house by BTS, only those sent to Hantle/Genmega.
